🎉 Miami County, it’s game time! 🎉
This Labor Day, we’re doing more than grilling and relaxing—we’re taking a stand! Billionaires are turning our government into their personal cash register, passing the biggest wealth giveaway in U.S. history, and putting their private army of ICE agents to work. But we’re not standing by. We’re standing UP.
Monday, September 1st, 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM
📍 Sidewalks in front of the Miami County Courthouse, Troy, Ohio
This is our huddle, our rally, our chance to show what we’re made of. Union leaders and union workers will speak, telling us exactly what we’re standing up for, who we’re standing up for, and why it matters.
And that’s not all—we’re also collecting donations for the Miami County Family Abuse Shelter! Items most needed:
Feminine hygiene products (tampons!)
Deodorant
Shampoo & conditioner
Socks & underwear
Paper products
Detergent
Bath soap
Dish soap
💥 Bring your voices, bring your signs, bring your dance moves, bring the energy! 💥
We’re here to stand together, have fun, sing, chant, and show everyone that we are peaceful, powerful, and united. This is solidarity in action!
Across the country, communities are taking a stand on Labor Day. We’re in the streets, outside the corporate offices, demanding a country that puts workers over billionaires.
OUR DEMANDS:
Stop the billionaire takeover corrupting our government.
Protect and defend Medicaid, Social Security, and other programs for working people.
Fully funded schools, and healthcare and housing for all.
Stop attacks on immigrants, Black, Indigenous, trans people, and all communities under siege.
Invest in people—not wars.
💪 Let’s make this Labor Day count—bring your fire, your energy, and let’s WIN together! 💪
